Eat and train like a celebrity before your wedding day

Bodyweight

When it comes to muscle groups in the upper body, body weight exercises are always very effective, with push-ups, bench dips or pull-ups ideal. Not sure exactly what a bench dip is? Head to your local gym and seek the advice of a professional.

High Intensity
Upping your metabolism during a workout is likely to increase calorie burn. Incorporate short bursts of jumping jacks, mountain climbers and burpees for best results.

Might As Well Jump
Plyometrics is effective for burning fat and leaning out your legs. Jump squats, jumping lunges and box jumps are great examples of this.

Multi-Muscle
Incorporate exercises that utilise a number of muscle groups at the same time, such as squat thrusters, deadlift to upright rows and side lunges with biceps curls. Training multiple muscle groups simultaneously saves time and burns more calories during and after exercise. Win win!

For clearer skin:

Drink two litres of water a day to flush out toxins and keep your skin smooth.

Banish Bloating:

Incorporate vitamin A (dark leafy greens and tomatoes), vitamin C (oranges and peppers) and fatty acids (salmon and walnuts) into your diet to reduce inflammation.

Steer Clear:

Avoid sugar if you’re prone to spots and steer clear of caffeine, which places stress on your hormones and dehydrates the skin.
