Six months into life as Mr and Mrs, we chatted to this glamorous pair about their lavish wedding day and their secret jitters – because even newlyweds don’t know everything about each other…
CS: Hi guys, thanks for chatting to us. Your amazing wedding was shown on ITVBe recently – what were you secretly most worried about when it came to planning your day?
E: Everything! Luckily Sadie is really laid back and our wedding planner helped with any little problem that came up. I was worried that 400 people would be too many guests, but it ended up a big, family party, which we all loved.
S: We had a few problems leading up to the big day but I imagine everyone does. They all got sorted in the end and seem really insignificant now.
CS: What would you do differently if you were having the day again?
S: I honestly don’t think I would do anything differently. I know that sounds cliché but it is true. I just wish I could do it all over again to savour every moment.
E: If you’d asked me before the wedding, I would have said I wanted it in Marbella, but it was perfect being in the UK where all of our friends and family could be there – and we got married a church, which was Sadie’s dream. That was really important to us both.
CS: Every couple has something that winds them up about the other…What secretly gets your goat?
E: I probably wind her up all the time! We’re both really headstrong so we have little arguments, but we always make up straight away.
S: Don’t know what you’re talking about Elliott….Haha!
CS: You both always look amazing. Do you have any style secrets you always fall back on to feel your best?
S: I love a bit of glam but having a tan always makes me feel better as well.
E: I like to keep it smart and simple. My suit for the wedding was from Gresham Blake in London who dress people like Ray Winstone, who always looks sharp. It was Sadie’s idea to go for the electric blue which I wasn’t sure about, but it looked great.
CS: Finally, what beauty or grooming products do you swear by?
S: Dry Shampoo! I don’t know what I’d do without it. I love the extra volume I get and it saves me so much hassle in between washes.
E: I’m always telling my kids to wear lots of sun cream when they’re over here in Marbella, so that’s a big one for me.
