Don’t throw away your sofa. The Feather Company is transforming flat and deflated sofas across the UK with their replacement seat and back cushions. If you are constantly plumping up your cushions or you’re just finding your sofa uncomfortable, post them your outer covers and they can make up completely new, plump and sumptuous Feather-Wrapped Foam cushions to fit inside.

Every cushion is cut, sewn, and filled by hand at their workshop in Edinburgh. They use only the best quality materials and the finest, ethically sourced, cruelty-free feather and down fillings. If you are after a specific density, just let them know and they will do their best to advise you on a suitable filling.

They also specialise in chair seat and chair back cushions, window seat cushions and scatter cushions. These can all be made up from your templates, measurements, or existing covers. Most bespoke orders take around four to six weeks to complete. This small family business was established by David Monro in 1969 and is now run by his son Gareth and their very talented team.
