After 19 years of restoration, presenter and conservationist Griff Rhys Jones has completed his Welsh estate on the Pembrokeshire coast.

The former presenter of BBC Restoration is known for his meticulous renovation projects in Suffolk, London and elsewhere, but it’s his project by Strumble Head lighthouse that has become a showpiece for his impeccable standards in design, sustainability and conservation.

Griff says: “We were essentially dealing with wrecks, and we had to pour cash into the restoration to get it right, but the farm still amazes me as it did on the first day.”

If the entire estate is booked, then up to 31 can be accommodated in comfort, sharing access to around 100 acres including nature walks, a children’s play area and ponds newly stocked for fishing.

The prize on offer is a three night weekend stay (arrive Friday, depart Monday) at Beudy Trehilyn in Pembrokeshire for any available dates in 2023. Excludes New Year’s Eve. The property sleeps a maximum of three people (one double, one single bedroom), all on one ground floor. The property welcomes up to three well-behaved pets which can be added – if pets are added the usual pet surcharges apply.
