Make it Wild – a family business giving back space to nature – are providing the chance to win two places on a four hour foraging experience in private woodland and meadows, hosted in North Yorkshire.

Foraging is a fantastic way to connect with nature! There is something magical about heading out for a walk and returning with a basket full of wild edible treats.

During this foraging experience in Yorkshire, you will explore meadows, hedgerows and woodlands in search of tasty wild food. The experience will take place in the beautiful Bank Woods, Summerbridge, in Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, near Harrogate. Make it Wild hold these events in spring, summer and autumn.

You will learn how to correctly identify a variety of plants, flowers and fungi, and about safe and ethical foraging techniques. The experience concludes with a light lunch cooked over an open fire, in a magical woodland clearing. You’ll enjoy eating the ingredients you’ve found, and sample other wild food and drinks.
